Meet Rory Gibbs

I’m Rory Gibbs, Olympic Champion and former Team GB rower. I was part of the Men’s Eight that won gold at the Paris 2024 Games, an achievement shaped by years of discipline, teamwork, and grit.

Today, I coach senior executives, helping them extend their healthspans, boost physical performance, manage stress, and build lasting habits.

I also mentor a small group of up-and-coming rowers, sharing insights from my career to support their growth, on the erg, in the gym, and life.

Outside of coaching, I speak at events and conferences, delivering keynotes on teamwork, resilience, and high performance under pressure. Whether it’s a corporate audience or a school hall, I aim to connect, inspire, and leave people with practical takeaways.

I’m a big fan of the outdoors, a good film, and a hot bath. I’m a family man at heart who finds joy in the little things, though if you check my social media, you might also spot the odd silly or nerdy moment. I like to keep things light-hearted, but I’m mentally driven, methodical, and all-in when I commit to something.

In my free time, I've been building a children’s book series called Lumo’s Dream Team, which teaches key soft skills through sport, like kindness, teamwork, and respect. It’s a project I’m passionate about, especially in a world where negative content is shaping so much of the next generation’s outlook.
